A friend of mine recently finished her very first non-scarf knitting project and she used Unique Sheep yarn to do it! It turned out perfect (really, I'm amazed that this came off the needles of a beginner) and I just had to brag on her a bit.

Elizabeth used one skein of
Back to Basics in
Morning Glory for this hat, on size 8 needles. The pattern she used is free
online. Now shes working on a pair of socks out of
Super Wool in a color I created just for her (hopefully I'll post more about this later in the week). Last night I showed her how to turn the heel and do the gusset, so shes almost done with the first one!

What a great hat! She did really awesome on it! Good job bringing another one into the cult... I mean craft!
